The two photos above are from Douglas Kent Hall, as noted.
The first is from Booted Up and the second is from Anti, who
stated that there are many more of his work on his web page.
An incredible limited edition photograph by Don Schimmil,
a California artist. Bought at an art show in Tubac, Arizona.
VABootLover took the photos from an old cowboys calendar and
framed them. Great way to keep the calendar around after a year!
Some of the miniatures displayed in Booted Up's office.
The following two photos are from Texboots, showing his personally
designed cowboy boots, built by Champion Attitude in El Paso, Texas.
Texboots writes: "This pair is my most "artistic" and truly unique.
I designed the tops in full size patterns, inspired by traditional
tooled leather patterns and Texas icons, like the longhorns at
the base of the deep scalloped tops. Each shaft side is centered
by a medallion: The Great Seal of Texas (Lone Star with oak and
olive branches), the map of Texas with a star for Dallas (with
branches of bluebonnets and cactus), the Alamo inside a wreath
of rope, and my Texas Flag cowboy boots inside rings of barbed
wire. The background leather is hunter green suede and the vamps
are matching Teju lizard. The boots are 20" tall with 3-1/2" under-
slung heels, Peso snipped toes, and my initials inlaid in the pulls.
This is a life size terra cotta boot sculpture.
