These boots are 13-inches high measuring
from the inside of the boot heel to the top,
not from the floor.  They are size 9 1/2 D,
custom made by Jones Boot and Saddlery
in Lampasas, Texas, in 1954.  (The business
washed away in a flood a couple of years later.)
