Vintage Tetzel-Jones Field Boots
Vintage field boots from World War II. They were custom made by
Tetzel-Jones of Wichita, Kansas. The boots are about size 12 and stand
21-3/4 inches high. They are in amazingly good shape for their age.
The forms are handmade, three-piece wood with an articulated foot
so you can pull the form out without unbuckling the shaft. The
forms weigh about five pounds apiece and are of birch or maple.
The boots were purchased at an antiques collective in the San Francisco Bay Area.
