The BOOTS and SPURS of Spurmarks

aka "Jinglin' Jim"

Now for the spurs!

A little boot/spur melange.  The spurs were acquired during a trip
through Loveland, Colorado, and Cody, Wyoming, for annual cowboy
collectibles shows/auctions.   I have great memories of the dealers,
sellers and cowboys attending those shows!   Now with eBay, you
don't need to traipse around the world to find these things, you can
do it in your shorts at your computer keyboard.   Is that good or bad?

Tony Lamas with a pair of Eduardo Garcia spurs.
(Eduardo Garcia is not related to the Les Garcia,
Elko, NV, Garcias).   The snake motif is quite
popular among spurmakers.  The saddle was an
old used one I got from a high school rodeo team
roper, and it works very well for "indoor rodeos".

Dehner 3-buckle tan field boots with Spanish tops
(size 12-D) and spiked spurs handmade for a gentleman
who obviously demanded obedience from his mounts!
